3 Years Out With a Pos. Margin

Hey folks, just passed the 3 year milestone and the results just came back at 0.01, been holding at that number since the 90 day mark. I would have to believe that i`m the poster boy for good recovery, fully continent, mister happy works just fine and only a few minor instances of passing a bit of blood. I say this to put those with, or thinking about positive margins minds at ease abit that you can get past that and have a successful recovery. Good luck everyone and be well! Tim

Great news.

What would you attribute to your success ?

1) Pathology was in error

2) PCa was cut so badly it died

3) Lifestyle change

4) I dunno

Congrats t-dog, me and my positive margins envy you!
So far I am 2 for 2 with my first 2 PSA test <0.01.
Another test coming up March 6th.
Keep those Zeros coming.

We can beat this thing!!!

Tim, so glad you are doing so well 3 years out.

That' the issue with positive margins, for some men: never a future issue. For me, with one tiny positive margin, surgery was declared failed within in 9 months.

Not sure what to attribute it to Sag. I have not changed my diet at all. I eat lots of meat and taters. I dont smoke, drink a beer with my buddys when i want to, but no mixed drinks. I have a very active lifestyle but i don`t work out. I ride a bike and a dirt bike and work in the shop on the racecars alot but i dont hit the gym. As much as anything i think i just willed it. I heard all the bad stuff about continence etc and just flat told myself i would not accept that. Obviously everyones body is different but the mind is a strong weapon to fight with.
