arimidex to prevent breast enlargement??

After 2 months of casodex, avodart, trelstar, nipples are tender and getting swollen. don't really want to grow breasts, enough dealing with the PCa

Doc prescribed arimidex, will pick it up later today.

Any comments or experience with this drug is appreciated, such as effectiveness, side effects etc...

If my pecs become breasts, their no longer just pecs, maybe man-boobs, matter of semantics I guess. Either way, I would like to prevent that from occurring. They can do a spot radiation to help prevent that, but it has to be done prior to HT starting. They typically do not do that for short term HT(6 months hopefully)

After asking if they were able to prescribe something to help with prevention, my follow up question to them
"Will it inhibit growth(permanent) or just manage temporary symptoms?"

The answer from my medical team
"It just manages symptoms temporarily"

I'm amazed how easily these meds are prescribed. Why would I have to ask that question? Essential info omitted when prescribing the meds for me.
