Okay, so I got great news on my psa tonight. Now that I'm settling down a bit, I'm thinking about other facets of my dr/patient dialogue today.
Specifically, the fact that my t levels are well within normal, yet I'm still experiencing hot flashes. (2 today) Certainly not as often as a year ago, but still. Doc was surprised to hear this, and said there were other possible causes, but did not think they had anything to do with t level, Lupron, or PCa. I asked him if he was thinking a thyroid problem. He grinned and said he would prefer to stick with his speciality, wherein I called him a name, and asked if he really went to med school? That was our laugh of the day.
I have an appt with family doc to discuss these symptoms next week.
Any of you non medical professionals care to venture a guess?
