Well, hubby had his cystoscopy today. Immediately swathe problem- he's been having to try to urinate through a hole about
the size of the head of a pin. Doctor couldn't even try the stretching he'd mentioned- couldn't get the scope all the way up! So hubby will have surgery on Tuesday morning. Doc said about
70% of his patients are fine after one surgery, about
20% need 2 procedures and 10% need 3. Hubby will be back on a catheter for 2 days- get it out Thursday. Then we head to Vegas for another concert on Friday. Hubby decided NOT to tell him about
his dissatisfaction today- not with surgery scheduled for Tuesday.

Ugh -- Sorry he's having a problem. At least they know what it is and how to fix it. Bummer it requires a surgery; hope he's in the 70%.
Have fun (& Luck) in Vegas!!!

Glad the doctor didn't force the dilation process, and knew it would be better to have it done with surgery. Sometimes they will use a tiny wire, and if they can't even get a wire through, then they know that normal dilation will not work, been there done that. Wonder what the odds are for someone having it done 6x like I did prior to my Urostomy surgery and still have it close right back up?
Hoping this will take care of it for your husband on the first surgical pass.

Glad you're making the best out of the situation. Off to a concert in Vegas afterwards - priceless. Enjoy your time away.
