Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mandy, I'm Todd's wife. This is my first post on Healing Well or any other forum for that matter! Thank you to everyone who have been such an amazing support to my husband. I get to hear about all your positive feedback and encouragement during the ups and downs of this disease. Mandy, Welcome to HW. We have been walking with Todd in the journey and will continue to do so. He has inspired so many of us.

There are many wives here that have posted and I am hoping you will become comfortable and friends with many of the like MrsWW.

Some of the mission of HW is to give support brother to brother but also wife to wife. None of us are in the battle alone.

Thanks for posting on HW.

Mandy, we are so pleased to have you join our family. Todd is an amazing person...not just because of what he has or is going through, but simply because of his heart, which we all know is huge. He's our rock star and there's very little that most of us wouldn't do for the guy.

Don't hesitate to stop by any time and post...whether it's something you're feeling or a question you may have or simply to share a part of your day. As you spend more time here, you'll see everything from heated debates about prostate cancer to what type of incontinence pad works best after surgery. We wear our hearts on our sleeves, so to speak, and I can honestly say that there isn't one bad egg in the bunch here. Everyone here has a story, and we're happy to share whatever we can.

Welcome, Mandy! I'm glad you have posted and joined us. This Forum is a huge support for me; one of the bright lights being your husband. His strength in his journey shines the light for others who find their path similar to his.
Just know you aren't alone which of course you know because of Todd but as a wife, there are a bunch of us here and we support each other, the good and the bad days.

Mandy, so glad you have joined us on this sight. It is a great help to me to know what the other ladies are going through and how they are coping.
We are on a crazy ride. In some ways cancer was the worst thing that ever happened to us, but it has also been the greatest gift we were ever given. It has helped us realize what is really important in life and given us the opportunity to know that we want to live every day to it's fullest. We are a lot more appreciative of the little things now!

Your husband sounds like a wonderful man. You are indeed blessed to have a man who loves you so much!
