My BF has had a non-nerve sparing prostactomy on 4/18/13. The URO surgeon at his 4 month check up after surgery gave us conflicting information. Surgeon first said "keep using the pump". Then after my BF refused to use MUSE or Injections because he isn't ready for that, the surgeon said "well since you (my BF) don't have your nerves it doesn't matter if you use the pump."

My thoughts on this is that my BF needs to use something to get oxygen to his penis. So, I am looking for a real ED doctor to educate my BF on what needs to done to preserve his functions.

Does anyone in MN know of a real ED doctor? I am looking for someone who cares. My BF lives in Henderson area, and I live in Belle Plaine area.

They have referred us to a Tim's Medical sales rep. This just doesn't sound right to me.........

Hey cowgirl, welcome back. . . I remember your earlier posts and it's good to hear from you again, along with an update on what's happening with your BF. 

While I can't help specifically with your post, I will say two things:

One - thanks for hanging with him through these tough times - and at his/your age I'm sure it is incredibly tough.  A man in his position needs a loving, caring partner that will help him through this - so again, from another guy - thanks.......

Two - there are plenty of guys out here with enough experience with both ED and the Twin Cities area that will soon join in to help.

Edit - I just added # three = there are also plenty of women out here that will also undoubtedly chime in to help YOU, as well........

Go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, that's closest to you and a good bet.

My uro is in Coon Rapids, he's also very good.

Yup, Dr. Haikel, North Suburban Urology. A straight shooter, no b.s, no fancy pants pie in the sky. He's been doing one a week since '85.

Thanks everyone. I found a Dr Twidwell that has 28 years of experience and good ratings.
