My husband had his last HT shot in June,My question is how long before it leave his body.

It takes a while and it varies from guy to guy. Since he was only on HT for a year, he will probably start to notice a difference after three to six months -- maybe as early as Christmas, more likely sometime in the Spring.

I was on Lupron for nine months.  as I recall it becomes pretty noticeable beginning at six months.

Hey Dee,
I'm not sure about how long it takes to leave one's body, but I know it took me almost a full year later before everything returned to normal and some say it varies from 6-12 months. Be patient and good luck!

There are one month shots and there are 6 month shots...It appears your husband has failed both surgery and radiation treatment, so he might not be done with the HT......

He is still getting his PSA tested every 3 month .
Aug PSA test still 0.01
