Interesting link, but find things like this too generalized.
With my high consumption of salt and sugar in particular, I will attest they have zero effect on my "frisky" moods.
However, when I was in Navy boot camp, we were told that they put salt peter in all the doughnuts, in order to reduce the horniness of the recruits in the barracks. I always figured that was urban legend stuff. Based on the number of metal bunks you could hear banging away in the night, not convinced it was true either, lol.
