Cyberknife for 'involved' Lymph Gland: New Treatment Planned

Bridgewater here - checking back in after cyberknife for treating lymph gland node, etc.

Have been off meds for almost a year and docs have been monitoring situation - the initial reviews did indicate some shrinkage in the treated lymph gland however now the situation has changed and not for the better.

OK news is that the Bone scan this past week shows no involvement detectable (at this point anyway).

My PSA remained low after coming off casodex but has been slowly climbing back up..(0.2 to 0.3; now 1.3 and 1.4) latest ctscan is not good stating: "right external iliac lymph node that was previously treated with CyberKnife has slightly increased in size since the previous CT and now measures 1.3 x 0.7 cm (4:22; previously 0.9 x 0.6 cm). However, since the previous examination there has been a marked increase in size of a right common iliac lymph node which now measures 1.7 x 1.3 cm (4:9; previously 0.9 x 0.6 cm). There has also been a slight increase in size of the soft tissue adjacent to the left vas deferens -this now measures 1.4 x 1 cm 4:32;previously 1.2 x 0.8 cm).

SOoooooo...back on the casodex with follow-up psa (4 weeks out)and yet another ctscan due in 6 weeks time.
