Had my rehearsal today.

I had my rehearsal for my upcoming IMRT/IGRT. Took about 20 min, no big deal. I have early morning appointments set up and have to drink 14 ounces of water 70 min before treatments. I also have to call every morning before drinking to make sure they are running on time.
All the fun and games start for real Tuesday 10/15.
I think they need a better name than a rehearsal.

As another 52-year-old that did HDR brachy and IMRT earlier this year, I'm doing pretty darn good so far with no side effects. Good luck and I wish you the same!

Steven - they called it planning and a dry-run... wasn't dry for me - I followed the rules and did the 500 ml of water one hour before - oops- too long a wait ... had to void the bladder and then fill up again ... now my basic routine is 15 minutes beforehand - and all the pics show a full bladder so no real problems yet ...
