Hi there, from what I´ve read about XL184 (and it has been a while) it has 2-way mode of action. It works on bone mets as well as on cutting the blood supply for a tumor. I don´t know if there were trials men with bone mets vs. men with lymph node involvement for this medication but perhaps it is worth asking where and when it would be most effective. Provenge is also indicated for men in your situation. I know if I were in the US and could afford it, I would bring my Dad to Dr.Myers in Virginia. He is very thorough and his advanced patients do really well for years, he seems to always have a new trick up his sleeve. Best to you. XL184 is very impressive medication, if you decide on this route.

 My Dr said they have the dose figured out from earlier phases. Now its a lot scans&biopsys to learn how it works on turmors. I just don't know how I could be in Detroit 2times a week right now. Its on my radar for sure down the road.

I know the results have been good with it. It's not moving along as fast as abiraterone acetate did through trials but the result have been impressive says several researchers. And if you want more trials enzalutamide combined with abiraterone is supposed to be a trial of great interest.
