Cough, Sneeze, Fart .... Dribble

I have 3/4 bladder control back. Is this all?

Also leaning over to one side while sitting seems to more than dribble !

I wish I could say yes or no, RALP 11-12-13, and still have very little control always dripping can keep some in while asleep or sitting but as soon as I am vertical it starts to come out. Doing kegels, walking, and PT to try to help, sure hope it gets better

Surgery 7 Nov 2013, went well, but then bladder infection and other complications. Just got catheter out about 2 weeks ago. Doing better finally.

Maybe 3/4 of bladder control back, usually but not always.

U are doing fine...for achieving 3/4 control of the bladder

I m post 6 mos surgery, still have occasionally drips when sneezing or pasting out gas.

Think I m contended with my current condition. Dun think I can achieve back the 'old days'

Don- For only a couple months you're doing great. I was leaking constantly then and it took me a year to be 98% continent. Regards Inkhorn

I didn't have any control to speak of until several months after cath was out. I would call your progress GREAT!

I was told that what I got before radiation would be all I got, so I do want to improve.

Some days I seem to leak constantly.

They told me the same thing about radiation.
Honestly I'm scared to death about waiting for radiation.
My surgery was Nov of 2013 also, biopsy Gleason 8, post surgery Gleason 9, 4+5, T3c positive margins and Lymph involvemnet. But it doesn't show up on the bone or ct scans (YEA!!!)

Wondering if I ought to say screw it and just wear leak guards forever and go for the radiation.

My understanding is that they like to finish adjuvant radiation within six months of surgery. That would give you until mid-March to start, I think.

I was still leaking when I had my radiation and I still leak now. I don't plan to leak like this forever but it's looking like I might be getting a sling at some point.

If you can't go back, go forward.

The first time I saw something really funny and I couldn't stop laughing, I pissed myself with every guffaw.

Turned out that was funnier than what made me laugh.

You might want to speak to your Uro about biofeedback sessions. The goal is to maximize your kegel/muscle strengthening.

Biofeedback allows a technician (usually a Urology nurse) to help "teach" your body how to do kegels fully correctly, and also uses electric stimulation to cause strong (but not painful) kegel contractions to strengthen the muscles.

I know that bluebird123's husband did biofeedback with excellent results for achieving full continence.
