Are you one of "them" and have you made peace with it?

Totally regret doing AS for three years, I was uneducated, uninformed with a g6 2 cores of 12 . 05mm and 1.5mm needle volume psa 4.0 7 at year three .bx 2013 same area 2 cores of 12 G8 , post surgery psa. 60 HT RT continuing on zoladex .Anxiety always. Take a downer to sleep an upper to stay a wake no libido, Ed, energy gone ,muscle loss, joint pain brain fog. Waiting on BMD results mabye I'll get lucky. Sorry had to vent. The only positive out all this. (T) 2.5. PSA 0.01. I wish I would have found this site years ago you guys are incredible.

Sorry if I sound negative just having a bad day.

I am not "at peace" and probably never will be although my frustration with my "new" doctor's failure has diminished; I am now willing to meet with him with a pipe wrench vs a pitchfork-lol.

You know where I stand on this statement. :)

I guess having an incompetent doctor is good for one thing only. He puts you in a position where you have no choices, much less one to regret.

As for other's statement on fear... When my husband did get a choice, radiation was his worse fear insofar as treatment options. He overcame that fear when he realized that once again, it was his only viable option.

I'm thrilled to see so many men receiving an array of choices for treatment or AS. It means they can choose whatever they want, side effects be darned. At least they have a choice...

... And having a choice is wonderful thing.
