You know where I stand on this statement. :)
I guess having an incompetent doctor is good for one thing only. He puts you in a position where you have no choices, much less one to regret.
As for other's statement on fear... When my husband did get a choice, radiation was his worse fear insofar as treatment options. He overcame that fear when he realized that once again, it was his only viable option.
I'm thrilled to see so many men receiving an array of choices for treatment or AS. It means they can choose whatever they want, side effects be darned. At least they have a choice...
... And having a choice is wonderful thing.
