when I was first diagnosed with prostate cancer Dana Jennings of the new York Times was blogging about
his prostate cancer.
after surgery Jenning's doctors found his cancer was much worse (G7 to G9) than the biopsy showed and and besides surgery Jennings also received hormone therapy and salvage radiation. he also struggled with and was treated for depression.
his monthly posts were scary, funny and informative. I really looked forward to his blog because it helped me cope with my own situation.
toward the end the postings the periods between the posts lengthened and Dana just quit blogging. he is still an editor with the Times and does write reviews and such but if anyone knows how he is doing with his cancer I'd like to know. also, here's a link to his blog in case you haven't read it and I strongly recommend that you do.
