Well, we've finally run out of job options and will be relocating from middle Tennessee to southeast Michigan. In the short term I can get back to Tennessee once every six months for medical follow up, but it's inconvenient of course.
Having had RT as my primary treatment, and still on HT (ADT2) for 2 more years, I'm a little unsure what to do about
my doctors after we move. Other than routine follow up for radiation after-effects, there's not much more to do about
my PCa until (if) some numbers go bad. My next steps if further treatment is necessary will be centered around medical oncology since it will very likely be a systemic issue at that point.
For all the experienced folks here, does anyone have a recommendation of a top medical oncologist in PCa at a major health system there, such as Henry Ford Hospital, St. John Providence, or University of Michigan Medical Center?
I'll have Lupron every six months for a couple years, and I'm not sure who to follow up with that either. It seems the urology offices typically administer that. Do you think I should look up a new MO in Michigan, and get Lupron through that office?
Complications....

You could try Dr. Maha Hussain at University of Michigan. She is knowledgeable. I think Compiler saw her, so he may have some thoughts.

hi redwing
I can't help with the PCa oncologist question but can tell you all the institutions you mentioned are top notch but U of M is the best anywhere ( and i'm a state fan and my uro works out of st johns) the others sometimes refer their most difficult or complex cases there. welcome to the land of high taxes and bad roads.
good-luck
