No,
ALWAYS buy a plastic/rubbery or adjustable Velcro RING. You may have to buy a few and test them out a bit; because you dont want it too tight nor too loose!
Steel and Iron ones are for aficionados and without the proper care could land you in the hospital emergency room because they dont come off easily. So my dear friend, buy plastic/rubbery and/or adjustable Velcro ones for starters. In an emergency you can just snip them off with a scissors.
.
Those are the kind I am thinking of, either these( though they look much like the ones that came with my pump so may not need to order others):

or this adjustable one:

But what I was curious about
: I know the various rings are used with pumps, and some folks use them who don't even use a pump or pills just as a general aid, but are they safe to use with injections. Mainly for the purpose of preventing urine leakage during the act. But I now see this on that Actis link/page: "These products may be used in combination with oral medications like Viagra or penile injections. Warning: Never wear loops are tension bands over 30 minutes."
So I guess they are safe for use with injections, as well as more obviously pumps and pills.
