not the best news, not the worst news: after RP, then "salvage" RT, and after two and a half years of 0.0, the newest test is a 0.1
ugh...RO is definitely interested in another test, but all things considered, waiting another 6 months for the next test is good enough. i've been doing pretty well with the anxiety for the week between drawing blood and getting test results, but we'll see how well i do with 6 months ! God will get me through it...

Sorry to hear your latest results. I had my SRT in 2010, around the same time as you and have been pulling down zeros since. But I still think I'm going to see the PSA come back every time I have a test.

We all have to deal with our own situations, and I can't say for sure what I would do if/when I see a turn in test results like yours. I'd probably want a re-test sooner rather than later to rule out the possibility that the latest test was wrong. For me, the anxiety of waiting 6 months for the next test would be worse than the anxiety of having an immediate re-test. But if the 0.1 was confirmed I would probably resist any rush into further treatment absent signs or mets or PSA readings that are into double digits. My thinking is that given the slow course of my disease thus far, further advance might also be slow, at least for a while, and I'd rather maximize my QOL before entering into further treatment. But that's just me. Best of luck with your next test and hopes that it is either down or at least not notably higher.

So sorry to hear about the latest, I would also retest right now to make sure of what I was dealing with. I'm heading down that path, will be following your developments, and I sure wish you the best.

Hoping the next test will prove that the .1 is wrong.... occasional fluctuations/bounces seem to just happen.

Thanks for the update Bob and hopefully it is just a blip. If not, then you can look at your options. Good to see Galileo and Jake checking in as well. Keep us posted and my best to you and yours.
