Hi my name is Junain, i live in Cape Town South Africa. i had my prostate removed on 03/03/2014 (12WKS) ago. To date I am still incontinent had and ED. I am using 1 pad a day just as a precaution but ED persist even with Cialis 20m, any advice would be very welcome.

Entire Tumour weighs 77 grams

GLEASON =7 (4+3).

Did you have nerve sparring surgery? Have you talked to your surgeon?

Welcome to HW, sorry you need to be here.

It takes time to heal up and you're body is still healing. The ED will take awhile same with being completely dry. You're doing the right thing with the cialis, hopefully that will bring something up soon.

Could you share more details?

Do ask your surgeon about whether the nerves were spared. Men whose nerves are left intact will usually need treatment for ED for six months to two years but will usually recover. If your nerves were damaged or taken then you will need ED treatment for a longer time, possibly for the rest of your life.

The good news is that there are treatments that are effective for almost every man. You just have to find out what works for you. Your doctors can help and, if your doctors confuse you, we can help you understand your options.

Welcome to the forum. I know it's frustrating but you are actually doing well for twelve weeks.

One pad is not bad at this point. ED can last a long time up to two years. Just need to be patient and keep your member from atrophying from lack of erections .

Welcome,

You are less than 3 months out of surgery, may be too soon to expect zero ED issues. You are still well in the normal healing range. Patience, my friend

The nerves are very important. Mine were saved. It took a while, almost one year but full natural erections did come back. The nerves suffer much trauma and healing can take a while as the healing occurs at about 1/8 inch a month. Do find out if he did nerve sparing surgery.
