Hi Tony
Just wanted to echo the previous poster - PCa seems to be a complex disease and each person appears to be different. I recently met with 4 others who had received treatment at the same centre as I, and all of us had G7, but with different PSA levels and treatments. Although we had all had some form of external radiotherapy, the side effects that we had experienced had again been quite different.
Personally I am trying to understand my disease and not try to compare myself too much with other people. On the HW site, I try to share my experiences with others in similar situations, and garner help from others who are in a similar situation to my self. It has helped with issues over cystitis, radiation fatigue etc, but what I try not to do (try being the operative word here) is expect that I will have the same experience as any one other individual.
Stay strong, sounds like you have good numbers coming back from your PSA. I am sorry for the loss of your cousin. Sad to hear of anyone succumbing to PCa.
