Maintaining an erection using a VED?

While you are getting it all figured out, have you tried 2 rings of whatever size/tension?

Also, I have used a size medium high tension Osbon by itself, and I think that holds better than other singles I have tried, but I also feel like it is too tight. I suspect that not as much tension is required when using 2 rings for some reason, while still giving the longest lasting results, but it's still a learning curve for me.

Also, try pumping back up once the ring is in place. Tricky, but it can be done.

Sometimes I wonder if my brain isn't 18 years old, or at least needs to be. Because, between these crazy pumps and/or injections and/or these uber-expensive pills just for hope of some rehab, you have really really got to want it to go through all of that. Just IMHO. Good luck as you learn! ( Maybe some real pros will step in shortly to give you some better advice!)

I can't get the correct seal anymore because the pump is on top of the tubes going to the ballon and clamp.

I see my surgeon in 2 weeks who installed the AUS for a follow up and plan to talk to him about it. For now, I stopped using the VED.

Bill, I use a VED and of course I just had my AUS activated a couple of weeks ago. I didn't use the VED while I was healing and waiting for activation. After activation, I decided to use the VED again to see what would happen. And shockingly I couldn't use it to get an erection! I say shockingly because the first time I used the VED after healing from my RALP, I got a great erection. Like you, I thought that maybe the AUS tubes were interfering with the blood flow.

Anyway, I kept experimenting with the VED, using it in various positions. For whatever reason, I got my first erection again by pointing the VED slightly downward and to the left. And then, by standing instead of sitting (as I was before the AUS), I began to get reliable erections again. I don't know why but the VED is working again, just in different positions and orientation. So, why don't you try some experimenting to see if you can find a position or orientation that seems to work better? Everything seems different now after my AUS, even including how I deploy my VED!

I experimented with some foam to use as a buffer over the tubes but it didn't work. I will try the rings. I think that is the answer. I need something to pad the VED and distribute the pressure all around . Without padding, the old way, the tubes are raising the VED tube and is not creating a tight fit.

Glad you found a solution, I'll try different angles like you. After that first problem I had activating and not pushing the controller, I guess I am afraid of pinching the tubes.

I didn't mean to hijack your thread, just thought if others are reading it, maybe someone could help me also.

To comment on your problem. I never really used the rings hardly at all. I just used the pump to get more blood flowing there. If you are early in your recovery, keep using it daily for therapy not necessarily for sex. I used to put hash marks on the tube where I had the largest erection then try to beat my score every time. Amazing how close to normal it got. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long without the rings.
