Anyone growing a beard or mustache for Movember?

Yes!! Absolutely!!

Movember creates opportunities for all of us to become advocates for better PC education by stimulating questions about the new 'stache. What a great program to promote PC awareness!

I'm a few months shy of the big Six OUCH...and this is only the second time in my life I've grown a mustache and goatee. (i don't have much to work with in the way of facial hair)

Question - the stache itches like crazy and my skin feels like its worn out.. Have a few ingrown hairs going on... But it's basically sensitive to the touch and out and out hurts while eating and doing the ol mouth wipe.

Any suggestions? Would hair conditioner help?

Solidarity Mannnnn!!!!!! Got my Movember stache and chops on their way. Hate the way it looks but Gotta raise that awareness.

I'm also participating. However, the Movember campaign seems less apparent this year in my area. The participation rate seems a lot lower than normal.

I'm going with the mustache and 'soul patch' below the lower lip. Since I wear a suit and have always been clean shaven, it has certainly created some conversation. I'm surprised at how many don't know it's done to raise awareness for men's cancers. But then again, a year ago I didn't know the reasons either.

I heard a radio commercial that said it should be mnustache and clean shaven chin

Not good at growing wither, but my stahe is even worse than my beard.

So trying both.

Making progress. At least when I saw them in Marina del Rey CA earlier this month, Wampuscats asked me if I was partaking in Movember:]

Hopefully by now then could tell I am all in for Movember, even if my spouse Karen says she can't wait for Dec 1.

I shaved mine off and am regrowing my "stache". It is coming back completely gray. I have used Just for Men on my head and mustache for years, cheap way to look younger, but it needs to grow out more beforeI dye it again.

It has caused some conversations but like several have said, it is not as widely advertised as before.

Kudos to the Today Show for participating. Matt Lauer, Al Rocker and the other men are growing beards and talking about PCa and men's health everyday.

Last year Matt and Al had live DRE's performed on the show by Dr. Samaldi, I believe.

The pink army still wins for getting the word out for BCa.
