Bone scan - clean no sign of metastasis

CAT Scan - clean - cancer appears to be contained in the prostate.

Thanks to all of you guys for keeping me from jumping off the ledge. I think I'm starting to feel a little better now.
I do need to hear back from Epstein, and I think its going to take time to let the idea of treatment and its effects sink in.
But at this moment, I actually feel like getting out of the house and going to work. (GOOD thing I am self employed and have a good assistant to keep the house in order)

You are right, the big question now is whether Dr. Jonathan Epstein confirms or negates the "5" in your Gleason 8.

Even if it is G8 (3+5) part deux, clean scans is great news.

It would be so ultra rare for a bone scan at this early juncture to show anything positive. All it really serves is as a base line in case something in the future (years down the line) to compare to from this point. Now one less thing for you to sit around and worry about.
