Well, where is it? I am getting sick and tired of reading this stupid forum. The moderators sit around on their hands all day with absolutely nothing to do. We haven't had a closed thread in MONTHS, it seems.

Clearly, this board has totally deteriorated.

Hence, let's discuss the following:

Why surgery is clearly, by far, the best initial tx. choice for almost all cases of PC.

Why supplements are just a bunch of hoooey.

We could debate if psa screening really makes a difference....or early hormone therapy vs delayed...how about Pom Wonderful?

It has been calm these days...not that there is anything wrong with that...

You bring up a valid point, so much so that even Logo is confused!

Everyone knows that surgery is "The Gold Standard" and having a PSA test before you turn 60 is unecessary and a waste of our insurance carriers money.

Where are the fights we had late spring of 2013 about PSA testing that kept the Forum Moderators awake all night?

I can rev things up if you like, I've been inching there anyway. I need my sabbaticals, it helps me reboot my higher angels, then on return, the OCD, frustration levels start to build... But promise no announcement/ return fanfare{ umm fan fare, now I understand the origin of the word} .I find them to be mostly self serving and pompous. Operative word mostly.

The PSA test is worthless and should not be done unless symptoms appear. Otherwise, you are worrying over nothing, because all males get prostate cancer eventually. It is the good cancer that you die with not from.

We largely ran off the guys that caused controversy.  Unfortunately, some of those guys were very bright and not always wrong.

Nahhhh, I don't agree with that. They should remove the prostate at birth. At least then I would not of had crusty socks all around my room when I was a teen. turn

Careful Casper555, are you sure you want to understand my posts to the point of offering a cogent alternative to them. Bravo to you then, regardless of your answer. BTW, clarify your psa declined from 19 to 6.4 with out any treatment other than antibiotics, possibly? If so, that is wonderful news.

Oncas, so easy to categorize folks, much more soothing…What ? A few guys having some fun with their minds, with out self medication, and you find fault. Whats your point? Ill spin it positively and say your words are you having some creative fun in your own mind in the spirit of the thread. Of course without any self medication of your own.. Unless you have an other spin, which I will ignore in the true spirit of the thread. Sense you are here, hows the journey and toleration of side effects from prescribed medication. There has been a lot of discussion recently on that and it appears you have been thru a lot of the treatment mentioned. Reefer, thats a term you{generic} don't hear anymore, unless you { generic} are in the Navy, lidat. ya know midrats, reefer, chocolate cow machine and of course the best of them all, Liberty
