Echo the sentiments expressed but want to wish you well also. We will be thinking of you and hoping for a quick recovery and great results.

Well I'm officially on HT! I had the prosthetics installed so the surgery is a bit different. Two incisions in groin, cut out the old and pop in the new. If you're going the other way, they cut the sac and remove that way. Pain is manageable, will know better in the morning.

Celebrate Life, I'm doing ok since the surgery thanks. The initial discomfort is less than the RP and NO Catheter, there's half the battle there! Same restrictions, no lifting, sudden movements and keeping walking. A couple of percocets resulted in 7 hrs of decent sleep.
The interesting thing is that the surgery brings your Testosterone down to castrate levels in 3 hours, so I would expect to have some SE's doubling up, that may be a bit unpleasant.
Fair amount of scrotal and penile swelling looking like a rainbow, when I can find it! All in all it's not that bad. If anyone has any specific questions, post here or email, not a problem!

Glad to hear it! BTW, mine weren't very scratchable when I was on HT--they were so small I could barely find them. So scratchability is one advantage to the path you chose!
