Gunner, that is a great report, thanks for the update!
Since we talked at GFMPH in Rochester I have watched your reports with great interest. It's difficult to get an Onco that is willing to be so aggressive with treatments, and even in advanced cases, they are more often geared towards running sequentially through the various therapies, waiting for each of them to fail before moving onto the next one. I'm still on my trial at NIH, PSA had got to 6.0 but most recent is 10.7, but scans last week were stable and no indications that would cause them to stop the current taxotere/xl-184 trial.
You asked in my thread how my leg pain is doing, and if I had answered you then, I could have said it was much better; but more recently having difficulties again and suspect lymph nodes cutting off circulation.
I may be coming to a cross road on my current therapy and am interested specifically of whom you are seeing for treatment, maybe you could drop me an e-mail. Have you been able to get insurance coverage for most of the treatments prescribed?
I'm also watching the aggressive treatments of LupronJim and SteelGuy; you are all an inspiration to me.
I will toast a glass of wine to you and yours tonight with Wendy, as I give her your great news!
Congrats and all my best!
