I am new here so what exactly goes down at these GFMPH gatherings?  I am also a Cajun and we might make a trip to visit family in Louisiana this spring. Maybe we can attend part of it.  Sounds like maybe some food and relaxation?  Anyway what happens there?

It has been a long time.

One week from yesterday I have my blood drawn for PSA. Crazy how we even after all these years it still makes you think.

Had a great Mardi Gras with some of the HW guys. Nth at was really GFMPH. They are all as excited as us about the April Get together.

We will miss you guys as well. My Dr told me he keep us at 6 months for life. Im about to contest that. :)

Anything you serve I'll eat. You could cook a turd and it would be palatable. But don't cook a turd. How about some kind of Cajun rice the night I cook the pork. I hear you are confused about yellow rice.

GFMPH is one month and 3 days away. RV slab is on hold with all this rain we are getting. First ones are scheduled to arrive on April 3rd. A few of us will go on a pre GFMPH camping trip on April 9th.

We will be arriving Weds prob noonish or early afternoon. Just going straight there, the Nola will be too much in one trip I think..... Best to conserve and not have to rush so we can enjoy you all!

I offer a cigar to all at the scotch tasting to smoke then. Extras are usually available (I buy too many to avoid being short). Some folks order based on our history with really good sticks.

They are hand rolled from organic tobacco by House of Cigars in Texas. My cost runs from $10 - $14 average per stick. Based on this year's list, it will be $12. That could change depending on how charitable they feel.

Be present, 1 is a given, for others ask now for a reservation, or see what is excess. But my order / settlement day with them is Saturday (21 Mar). The tasting sticks are already bought and in the aging room. There is a medium and a stout blend mix.

I have not posted here in some time, but no way my wife and I miss GFMPH at Cajun Jeff's place this year. Our rooms are booked and we have the days off from our new Jobs here in San Antonio so we will see you all on the 16th in Louisiana .
