Help with mom

I know this is a little off topic here but could use some help. I know quite a bit about my PCa but very little about other cancers.

Just left the oncologists office with my 78 year old mom. She has been diagnosed as having metastastic cancer in her liver. The pathologist was only able to identify as adenocarcinoma of unknown origin.

Before any treatment can begin they need to identify the cancer. Can anyone direct me to a lab for a second read of her biopsy slides? I have used bostwick for my PCa but am unsure if they are PCa specific or well versed in other cancers as well.

Any help is appreciated

That's not good. Hopefully they'll come up with better answers.

My other thought is to go ahead and call bostwick to see if they could at least give you a referral.

Just a random thought. MD Anderson might be good too.

We are in Southeast Connecticut. The cancer was found due to the Mets in her neck which caused hoarseness and difficulty swallowing.
