Sharken, when I had my biopsy, I was urinating clots at least a couple of times a day for about 4 weeks, plus I had blue/black ejaculate for longer. The pain in the butt from the antibiotic shot still is there from time to time 5 months later.
You have plenty of good options. How old are you is an important part of the planning. It sounds like you're getting good info from your doc. Also, let us know where you are located. Like it or not, where you live...and where you are able to travel to....can be a significant question when it comes to treatment choices.
The key is to find highly experienced doctors no matter which choice you make. If you want surgery, find someone who has hundreds, if not thousands, of surgeries under his belt. If you go for any of the radiation therapies, the same applies. Even if you choose surveillance, it's important to be in a group that does a lot of them.
