Lack of progress is still frustrating.
Looks like June will be my busy medical month.
In June, will be seeing my Oncologist, will have a new PSA done (first of the year), and since I am past time, will be asking for a full body PET scan. Having increasing pain issues, not saying it is - but feels like deep bone pain, hits me hard every evening. Starts in my left hip, then tail bone, radiates eventually down my left leg, to knee, and some evenings, all the way to my ankle. Right side always feels like that 24/7.
Also in June, meeting with the VA ENT group, and now they are setting me up for a panel meeting with their Neurology department, both will be done at the VA Regional in Columbia.
Later this month, will be having a 3rd dental appointment about my pending dentures, taking forever, but getting closer to having teeth again. Been a full 6 months now without any teeth. Two other dental appointments in June.
Still on the waiting list to see the Optical team, have no idea how long that will take.
Weight issue never goes away, sometimes, I can gain 3 pounds back, but will turn around and quickly lose 4-6 pounds, so never any net gain. Probably my average weight the past 2 months is 130 lbs So that's 120 lb. loss since under the care of my oncologist, and 139 lb. loss from my all time peak high.
That's about it. Just trying to survive all this, and keep on keeping on. I am back to reading a lot of posts here, but have little to add or say at this time. Later in October, will have been a member here for 7 full years, hard for me to believe.
On a positive note, been trying to enjoy our RV property we purchased last year, makes a good get away place, less than an hours drive, but feels like you are in a different world. Been slowly improving the property, but only so much I can do physically at the time, so its been taking a while. Scheduled to take our 3rd cruise in September, back to the Bahamas out of Charleston. Cruising works well for me, because I am not having to drive, and I can rest or sleep anytime I please.
