What exactly are you asking? Alighing at UCI is a well known surgeon and would be highly recommended if surgery is your choice.
I went to UCI for about 4 years and was not impressed with their knowledge of PC.
For staging and treatment recommendations I would use Scholz in Marina Del Rey. For radiation I would see Dermanes at UCLA. City of Hope is also a good place for surgery.

We have no idea what you're asking. You have to tell us what your situation is with respect to prostate cancer (e.g., not yet diagnosed, newly diagnosed, on active surveillance, interviewing doctors for primary treatment, treated and recurrent, advanced PC, metastatic, castrate-resistant, etc.) before any of us can recommend doctors or facilities for that situation. It would help to add a signature with your diagnosis and treatment history, if any, so far.

Dr. Ahlering at UCI is one of the very best robotic surgeons in Southern Cal. He published his statistics in peer reviewed journals and were very welling to share with his patients the details of his outcomes. However, I don't think he accepts insurance.

Dr Ahlering does not accept insurance for his services and you would have to pay then submit for reimbursement. When I talked to him 6 years ago I believe his charge was around $6,000. The good news is that UCI does accept insurance for the operating room and hospitalization which is the majority of the costs of the operation.
