Time to post some more photos. My wife & I traveled to Florida earlier this month. Blue Cypress Lake, Viera Wetlands, Merritt Island, St. Augustine Alligator Farm Wading Bird Rookery.
Florida 2015
Enjoy!

Amazing shots Jerry, thanks for posting.
I was given a gift for my birthday of a Nikon 3200, as my wife knew I was wanting to take up photog as a hobby. Three days later I had my biopsy and got diagnosed, so it took me until a couple of weeks ago to start learning about
it. I'm taking a couple of private lessons from a client who is a great photographer. Second lesson is today.
So your pictures are inspiring to look at, and motivating for me. It is quite a challenge to learn how to take really good shots.

@Pratoman
Thanks for the compliment. Nikon makes good equipment. Join a local Photography Club - you'll learn a lot there. And get some great shots!!

Hi Jerry,
Looks like you were just north of us in Brevard County - lots of great wildlife photos!! I especially love the manatee nostrils above the water with the whiskers below the surface!
We just returned from a wildlife trip to Costa Rica, but our photos don't look nearly as good as yours!

Jerry -
As a Florida resident I have been to my share of nature preserves here in this state and have seen birds in natural settings such as you have displayed.
You have done a simply wonderful job of capturing both the beauty and the place-in-nature of these creatures. To say that your photos are of professional quality is truly an understatement.
There are a number of nature-in-Florida type magazines out there (I see them on local newsstands all the time) that I'm convinced would love to make use of your photos (and pay you for the privilege). If interested, try googling for them and see which ones are in the market for some top-quality nature pictures, and you could email them with attachments of your photos. I'll bet some of them would make you some offers.

All I can say is WOW! Fantastic pictures. Thanks for letting us view them. I have been seeing those pink spoonbills for years in St. Augustine, but never manage to get a photo of one.
Cheers

Would you mind sharing: what camera did you use?

Thanks all! I've having fun.
@81GyGuy, I'm blushing. Occasionally, I'll win a contest for some $$. Occasionally, I'll sell a shot. A local Gallery has a few of my images on consignment. But if I'm not careful, this could become a business and that's too much like work [grin].
@compiler, For the most part I'm a Canon shooter. The shots in this slideshow were any combination of Canon 1Dx or Canon 7DMkII camera bodies and Canon 500mm F4L / Canon 400mm F5.6L / Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 lenses. I keep telling my wife, "It's cheaper than a boat" [more grins].
@F8, Gorgeous images. Bridges & Bears!!!
...Jerry
