Hey every one. Still doing well!
8 years after advanced Dx and living well. I'm still doing all the research work with SWOG, AUA, ASCO, and now NCI but even better I run the Las Vegas Ustoo chapter for six years and still have great storied to share on survival of this disease.

Everytime the the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) releases a document, I tend to recommend to every newly diagnosed patient and even the advanced knowledge guys - and here it is. Please guys this is such a terrific patient document. Take the time to understand it...

Tony--Thanks for posting this. I'm glad that you are in your 8th year; hopefully, you are finished for,life. It seems that the subject of screening was completely avoided.
I went to my support group meeting on Monday at Gunderson/Lutheran and noticed new signs posted on the walls: "Caught early, prostate cancer is almost always curable. So if you are over 50 get an annual prostate exam with psa test". --Lol. I guess that my hospital marches to their own drummer! The VA still recommends "no screening"
