This month it has been 8 years and 3 weeks since my RP, looking back over those 8 years I must admit that I have been fortunate, except for total ED which at my age is no problem, the recovery from the operation and the subsequent radiation, my life has not changed much at all, compared to others on this site, notably my good friend David, my PSA is starting to rise, and I am seeing my Urologist in September, for a plan of action.

This site and some of the oldtimers that are still here, has been my comfort and inspiration, since I nervously joined this Forum in June 2007.

My thanks to you all.

They will find a treatment to slow or stop the cancer. My bet is you will be OK. Best to you Mal.

Good news, Mal. I hope you are able to put a zero behind that 8 eventually. As Faustman says there are all manner of treatments being investigated and some may offer the promise of a cure.

Good news, at the 8 year point. I'm quickly approaching my 7 year mark ... with straight 0.00 results.

All the best to you as always. I get the luxury of being your FB friend so I get the updates as usual. I remember when you arrived you were heavy into the lawn bowls. I hope you still are...

Hi Tony!! still into the lawn bowls, even won the championship pairs last season, just had an arthroscopic procedure on left knee which has slowed me down somewhat, but so far ok, thanks for the post, all the best to you and yours, and good luck with the drone flying.

Good stuff!

And if we "pro-sumer" drone guys can get an assist by the "idiot" drone fliers to stop the mischief we'll be doing some great photography for years to come. Of course I have the pilots license so at least I know where "idiot" places are. Keep watching I'll be posting some more soon at FP and on Vimeo. Just got some great shots at the 11,000 ft elevation in Utah.
