Catalona had done more than 6000 well before he did mine, and he's a pioneer in the procedure after all. Figured my chances were better than anyone's. I'm still a zero after 23 months.
I'm probably breaking a rule here but at the most generous I think the statement on his website is very optimistic. There's no way he's that much better (vast majority?) than the data in the cited studies. There have been other recent threads on under-reported side effects of all treatments. And I suppose I'm guilty too, since I haven't been back to see him since he (again charitably) ignored a simple question I asked about
a Dr. Myers video when my psa had gone up to 0.1. I wasn't even a Myers patient at the time. I just mentioned the name and it was clear he had no interest in me coming back. It was shocking really since up to that moment he was the most pleasant and gentle person you could hope for in a doctor.
You know what? I might feel better if he had said, sorry I had to cut wide to get rid of it all. But I got the double whammy.
Ok admins, go ahead and delete. At least I got this one off my chest for now.
