@ Andrew--I love Bobby McFerrin's 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' song. I heard him conduct the Seattle Symphony Orchestra several years ago. What an extraordinarily talented musician.

Controlled worry is not a bad thing, of course. ( I was so worried about going broke, that I over-saved and now have no worries about money for retirement) I used to have generalized anxiety disorder, but used Cognitive Behavior Therapy to learn to worry better. Worry interfered with sleep, with work, with relationships, with health. And upon being diagnosed with PCa, my worry was on steroids. I would not have been a good candidate for AS.

I truly envy those who go through life without seeming to have a care in the world. And if they aren't a total flake or high, I wonder "are they faking it" and sometimes " I wish I could have two of whatever they're on!"
I've posted this line from the DH before " most of what we worry about never happens"
I wish I would have worried about him getting PCa!

Mel, we do worry about you because we care!

Ron is so much calmer than I am. Then again, he doesn't go on the Internet. I am the one that did all the research on his cancer. Not good to get in that frame of mind.

Seriously, if I had signed up as "OMGMyHusbandHasPCaButNowHeGetsToSpendWonderfulTimeWithMeEveryDay," (which by the way would have still been shorter than the OP's original name :) ) who in the world would have taken me seriously??? ;)
