Yes, I was also told by the Uro he could not cut too close to the Sphincter muscle during stricture surgery or risk incontinence.
I guess the question is what constitutes chronic bladder neck strictures?
It seems the self Dilation Catheter is not used in the USA?
So far it's working ok but using Milton as a Catheter Sterilising solution seems to have made the plastic dilator
less flexible, the Doctor says to use soap and water instead ..which surprises me.
Personally I found the insertion of the supra pubic catheter a traumatic experience, I know having it done
as an emergency procedure did not help and having it beside the RP incision site left it uncomfortable.
