Today's Dr. Visit

Short and sweet:

Nurse came in, had me pee in a cup, then sat me down for a blood draw. "PSA will be back in about 10 minutes".

PA came in. "Any urine issues? Drips? Leaks? How's your stream? How about erections? Issues with doing the deed?"

Then, "We're backed up on PSA. I'll mail you the results. I'll only call if it's NOT <0.04, ok?" Let's make you an appointment for 6 months. See you then!

So, not having gotten a phone call in the intervening time, my zero club membership is continued for 6 months. Beer's on me tonight!

Good job! Don't you like it when all of this works exactly the way it's supposed to?

My six-month is tomorrow. My biggest concern is my weight--I promised my oncologist I would lose at least 10 pounds before my next appointment.
