I ended up with an AUS, my leakage after a year was lot worse than yours. Given your activity, averaging 4 oz is not bad, but I know how even that or really any leakage that requires pads is not a good place to be.
Before you consider any surgery, maybe you should consider incontinence physical therapy. They get you to do a lot of different exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor including kegels and add in bio feedback back and electro stimulation. This didn't work for me but my case might have been different than yours and I don't see any downside to trying it other than the time. You can ask your urologist or surgeon for a referral. I know people who had really good results with the PT.

Hello knotreel. Thanks for the advice on physical therapy. I've got my first appointment this Monday. I totally agree it doesn't hurt to exhaust all options before another surgery. Another question, I seem to experience more leakage on days I am experiencing emotional stress or anxiety. Anyone else experience this? The last several days it has felt like more leakage but I've averaged 2 ounces a day. Regards to all, John

never noticed any effect like you speak of, but if someone is stressed, perhaps their bladder pressure can increase with the stress? That would be a good question for your PT visit.
