Started Xtandi

Initially diagnosed with prostate cancer 7/04.

Got 4 years from 25 beam radiations and seed implants.

Got 5 1/2 years with Lupron.

Got 2 1/4 years from Provenge and Casodex.

Now started Xtandi 3 days ago.

I walk at least a mile 3 times per week. Run the WII bowling at our local senior center twice a week and play a lot of Bridge.

Life is good!

Looks like you have had some very meaningful successes over time, with a range of treatments offered to you.

Since you've been on the battlefield a while, I bet you appreciate the new advancements and breakthroughs that have emerged in the field of prostate cancer in the past decade. Indeed, some of the new breakthrough medications and new treatment practices have certainly helped me already !

I appreciate the "fighting spirit" you show in your post, encouraging others, staying active, and LIVING LIFE to the fullest since your original diagnosis over a decade ago.
