Well, there's not a lot of privacy in the radiation suite, but you could ask....

I was never cautioned about that at all. But I was also on Lupron, so it rapidly became rather a moot point.

The treatment doesn't leave you radioactive. If you're up to it, enjoy.

but as Redwing noted, most treatment facilities would prefer you do it at home...

You know, all kidding aside, no mention was made of the type of radiation treatment. I was thinking about EBRT. HDR would be similar it seems.

But, if one has the LDR seed implant method, is there a risk of a seed exiting the prostate? Or the local radiation field emanating from the implanted matrix of seeds? Maybe there could be a restriction based on that method?

Sex or procreation? Probably better to wait a while for the latter. Radiation altered sperm may not make the best children.
