When you start a new thread, it helps a lot if you include a signature so we can see where he stands on his journey....Eligard and Lupron are the same drug, just a different company makes them. Along with a PSA test they should also do a testosterone test to be sure the drugs are working...Does he take any calcium tablets to help stop the calcium loss from his bones? Bone pain with a PSA of 0.08? Not very likely and in any case the casodex would reduce bone pain not make it worse...If and when his PSA increases to around 1.5, an F-18 CT-MRI scan might be worthwhile to locate any possible mets and determine their extent....
