Good morning all,
Although I have read most of the posts for quite a while now, it has been quite a long time since posting, as my husband has been on a "wait and see" regime.
Long story short, there have been, at first small incremental rises in PSA, but these have been getting larger as time progresses. This year alone, he has gone from
2.2 in Jan 2017, to
3.3 in March, and in the last test
5.9 0n 28 June.
(So, almost tripling in 6 months).
In one year, from July 2016 PSA has gone up quite a bit.... was 1.4 in July 2016, and now, 12 months later, 5.9.
From signature you can see, Gleason 9, with primary treatment as Hormone deprivation, High Dose Radiation, followed by External Beam also.
PSMA PET scan scheduled for Friday 7th July. Specialist said the most frustrating outcome will be if it shows nothing, as this would not allow for the best targeted response.
Not sure what I am hoping for.
