To be honest I ask from what I don't know.

What is the lowest level PSA that either of these two imaging PETs are effective.

Which one is more sensitive and accurate?

DCFPyL is the most accurate one at the lowest PSA, so far. None of them is much good at your current PSA.

I haven't updated my PSA in my signature, but it went from 0.18 to 0.30 in 6 weeks.

In late August(8 weeks after the previous test) I'll be having another PSA test to see if that jump was legitimate. If it is then F18-DCFPyL might be the ticket. 88% accuracy when PSA 0.5 - 3.5, I should be about 0.60

Darn just read it's only in trial stage, and I am excluded due to previous HT.

If you are eligible the best test is the 68Ga test, open currently only via clinical trial.

Did this last week (July 3, 2017) at UCLA (referred by Dr. Richard Lam from the PCRI) and it showed cancer in 6 places, including my liver

Choline C-11 test at Mayo on May 30, 2017 showed no trace of cancer despite my high PSA (over 28). However, if you are not in a clinical trial and are not far advanced like me, it is the best available and Dr. Eugene Kwon is superb

The fluciclovine (Axumin) PET is FDA approved and is available at several sites. You can contact them to find the closest location to you and to get details on insurance reimbursement:

DCFPyL is available at Johns Hopkins, NIH, and several locations on the OSPREY trial, but they require at least 1 met detected through other imaging (CT, MRI or bone scan). They also give a NaF PET along with it. If you are looking at the OSPREY trial, it does not exclude you because of prior hormone therapy in Cohort B, but no evidence of metastases is an exclusion.

Ga-68-PSMA-11 is available at UCLA, UCSF, Stanford, MSK, Cleveland Clinic and other locations for an out-of-pocket fee (UCLA charges $2650).

Before you shell out a lot of money for any of these, consider what you would do with that information.
