My original posting on HW was GS 9 and overwhelmed. I also talked a little about
my fears and that my daughters didn't understand. I felt nobody would or could ever understand what I was going through. Sleepless nights, constant thoughhts about
cancer, why me, etc, etc, etc... Its all normal for the shock we were given. We understand that "funk". We all are there with you on that. I can't give some of the great treatment advice and recommendations for doctors others on here can, but I can tell you this. Educating yourself, asking questions, taking notes, bringing someone with you to doctor visits in case you miss something said, and learning about
this roadblock to life we suffer from will help get you through. Your family may never understand fully what you are going through. Educate them also. They have their own fears and worries about
you. Don't push them off to the side. They in time will come to understand more. But you learning to cherish the birthdays, holidays and special moments with them will last everyone a lifetime and may even be more special.
This forum is here for you. I Think it's either Intheshop or Island Time (sorry if I'm giving the wrong credits.....lol) who says "We'll leave the light on". It's on for you brother.
