First my good news of the year. Glad to share that I still retain my < sign although this time lab did the regular PSA so its <0.1 and I am feeling pretty happy to start 2018 this way.
Was wondering if TSA/International airline security will let VED and Trimix/Syringes through the security or would I need to check those in. Would hate to loose them. This would be my first travel to Germany post surgery.
Thanks and Happy new year to all! Its been a pleasure to be here most of 2017, it was heck of an year for me and am glad its over and behind me.

Congrats on your good news, ddyss!
There have been a couple of threads on this topic in the past. Do an HW search for
tsa trimix
. Bottom line: hasn't been a problem for travelers going through TSA check or most other countries' airport security. Quite a bit of talk about
refrigeration methods, though.
Can't imagine a VED would be a problem. If someone questions it, you could give a demonstration! I'm traveling through Japanese and US security in 2 weeks, so I'll find out first hand (so to speak).

Don't have any experience with your particular meds/devices but I do travel internationally fairly often and always put any medication/medical devices (I travel with catheters and various meds) in my checked baggage unless I will absolutely need them on a very very long flight. TSA/International security can be very unpredictable from place to place so I just don't choose to take a chance dealing with any potential problem.
There is always a risk the the bags will get lost but I'd rather take that risk than having to deal with those folks..seems unless you are planning to join the mile high club checking them through would be the way to go IMO..

Thanks Saipan and Joe!
Will be checking them in and hopefully they will make it. I’m only half way there to join the mile high club. Although, things have been looking up lately
hope the trend continues!
