It happened to me too, but only lasted about
3 months. The tenderness was quite noticeable, to the extent it became a little uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach. I did get a limited amount of breast growth from it too. While maybe a little embarrassing, my wife assures me it's mostly in my imagination.
I heard the same explanation as already mentioned. When my T recovered rapidly, my body had become so used to no T for 3 years that "normal" levels were suddenly excessive. Hence conversion to estrogen, and the related breast tenderness.
Just more fun from this disease! TA suggests some treatments, and if it's bothersome enough I'd suggest considering them. I didn't do anything about
it.
