Long road back to zero club. Hope I stay longer this time.

I feel the need to update my situation. I was on this board as HCV about 6 years ago. I was diagnosed in 2012 and had surgery 4/12. My stats are below. I thought I was cured and spent most of my first 18 months complaining about ED.

Then the SHTF 1/2014 when my PSA was .1. I was continent and ED had finally resolved with meds (I will talk more about that in another post). Just when I thought I had it behind me it was back. With my stats I was in no rush to do SXRT (I was told that would leave me with total ED - not true) so I wanted to hold off.
I didn't believe it could be back with my path etc.

In 3/2015 it was clearly up and I waited until after.2. I was ready for SXRT that summer but I went full Meyers protocol on my own with diet/Vitamin D/ Metformin etc and my PSA stabilized for almost 4 months.
I had one last jump in 12/2015 and I pulled the trigger.

When XRT was done I started living. My wife and I had fun and I lived in denial. I NEVER went for another PSA until yesterday. I just could not bear bad news. I know this is stupid and it made my surgeon skeptical and irritated. I realized that I had to face up to it some day and I also wanted to give myself a chance at hitting a node etc and avoiding hormones if possible.

I just go the news yesterday and it is <.1. I can't believe it - I know I am not out of the woods but Iam 26 month out from SXRT.
Going to stick with diet etc -but I did go to a steakhouse last night.
Reading this board again recently gave me the courage to go back and get the test and do the right thing!
