Really sorry to hear about
the poor level of care you have received. I guess this doesn’t happen with everyone, but since age 40 I’ve been getting annual—every year, despite anything else that’s going on—checkups with my internist. This is the time and place when discussions & shared decision making about
PSA testing and other elements of my long-term healthcare take place. I’ve also had “distractions” in my life, but always made it to my annual physical.
