More likely a coincidence or another disease process going on. Bone loss is a rare possibility post RT. I had some gum issues recently and was concerned it might be due to the RT, but they did some scans and checking and decided that I had no bone loss.
I had to have the laser gum surgery and that took care of it. Not fun to do, but wow, my teeth haven't been doing this well for years.
yes, I have heard of people losing teeth to radiation, but it took a lot more than what we PC guys get exposed to.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm sure you're right. I've been expecting this for awhile. Pretty lax with dental hygiene for too long. Plus I believe there are genetics at work, too. Cheers
