Just got the results for my six month PSA test: 0.4

up .1 from last time.

OMG.

Next test in six months.

Judging from your PSA history Iā€™m deducing that your OMG is indeed facetious.

I'd be OMG too if I were in your shoes, but I'm not and objectively it looks like you still haven't budged in four years. Go sand something. Make a beautiful thing.

Saipan, mattamx: .3, .4 same number as far as I am concerned - I mean OMG in a good way. That's it's been stable for so long has been a surprise to me. My first conversations with the URO and RO weren't that hopeful and both tried to gently prepare me for the possibility that the first treatment might fail. One day my RO said, "I'll open the beam up a little and will hit more of the prostate bed than normal and we'll see if that works."

It did, but I am annoyed ever six months when the cancer monitoring clinic sends me that note to get tested and every year I get that little note from the URO, "Given your history, we'd like to monitor a bit longer."

I agree with you Andrew. There is no way your result should be considered negative. You are in very good shape!!

OMG, indeed Andrew. So good to see your results!

Just sad to think about all the guys who would be having a coronary with a 0.4 PSA after primary treatment. You are a testament to having patience and doing it the right way. May it stay like that always.

Thanks for all the good thoughts.

six years ago I wouldn't have thought I'd be here. I keep posting these results just to add a little hope and positiveness to an otherwise difficult and gloomy topic. I know that I more fortunate than some and for those who haven't had my results.

I'm late to this thread, but I'd say that stability is your friend, and a good one at that!

If it has to be someplace, and won't go zero, then low and stable is the best one, I think.

May you celebrate so many happy returns of the day that you tire of counting them.
